Pollution from discarded fishing nets is a serious global issue. Surprisingly, pollution caused by nets in rivers is rarely discussed. This project focuses on the mouth of the Ganges River in Bangladesh. Our goal is to collaborate with local fishermen and establish recycling services. This initiative includes an eco-friendly brand, an offline recycling station connected to an online website, and a redemption system to incentivize recycling. Through these efforts, we aim to tackle the problem of river pollution caused by discarded nets.
废弃渔网造成的污染是一个严重的全球性问题，令人意外的是，河流中渔网造成的污染却鲜少被提及。本项目聚焦于孟加拉国恒河河口，目标是与当地渔民合作，建立回收服务体系。该倡议包括一个环保品牌、一个与线上网站相连的线下回收站，以及一个用于激励回收行为的积分兑换系统。通过这些举措，我们希望切实应对废弃渔网所引发的河流污染问题。
